Where we are
The Arbëreshë Cultural Museum is located in the historic centre of San Paolo Albanese, on Viale Regina Margherita, just a stone’s throw from the Town Hall.
If you’re travelling by car, you can park along Via Alessandro Smilari and walk to the museum in just a few minutes.
By car
Coming from the A2 Mediterranean Motorway, take the Lauria Nord exit and join the SS653 (Valle del Sinni). After about 38 km, you will come to the turn-off for Valle del Sarmento (Noepoli). Take the SS742 and follow the signs for San Paolo Albanese. At km 52.6, you will find the turn-off onto the road leading up to the village, which you will reach after about 3 km.
Coming from the SS106 Jonica, between Policoro and Nova Siri, you can take the SS653 Valle del Sinni, reaching the junction for the Valle del Sarmento after about 30 km.
By train and bus
San Paolo is not served by rail links. The nearest station is Policoro, which is on the Taranto–Reggio Calabria line.
By bus, however, you can reach San Paolo Albanese using the services of the Consorzio Trasporti Aziende Basilicata (COTRAB), departing from Senise.
